The Luckiest Man in the World

I’m the luckiest man in the world. That’s it. It’s just a fact.

Almost twenty years ago, I was fortunate enough to meet an incredible woman who—admittedly faster than any reasonable person should have—agreed to become my wife. Since then, she’s given me three amazing children who continue to shock, entertain, and inspire me every single day.

All of that would be more than enough to cement my role as a happy husband and father for the rest of my days. But she doesn't just share a life with me; she continues to be an incredible, unwavering partner in absolutely everything I do.

Unconditional Support

When I recently decided to take my art to the next level and launch this business, she showed me yet again just how lucky I am. There was no argument. No heavy sighs. No complaints about the chaos of adding one more thing to the pile.

She just smiled, said okay, and immediately jumped in to help me research and hunt down all the gear I’ll need for craft shows and vendor events. She completely accepted that we’d be investing some of our limited funds into materials, prints, merchandise, and a dozen other details I hadn't even considered yet.

Best of all, she has accepted the massive amount of time and energy I’ve been pouring into this dream. Between the digital canvas, my day job, my work at the gallery, and the normal, beautiful chaos of keeping a home and family up and running, life is busy. But she is right there in the trenches with me, making it all possible.

My Wish for You

So, I repeat: I am the luckiest man in the world. There is absolutely no question about it.

All I can say is that I sincerely hope all of you are fortunate enough to find a similar love in your lives. I hope you find someone who knows exactly how to calm your mind and excite your spirit at the same time. Someone who makes you feel invincible—like you can take on every new creative challenge without even considering failure.

I hope you find someone who inspires you to write a sappy blog post just to tell the world how special they are.

That’s what I wish for all of you. And if you already have someone like that in your corner? Tell them. As often, and in as many ways, as you possibly can.
