The Architect of Dreams
I’ve spent my life in Michigan—from the grit of manufacturing to the quiet beauty of our Northern landscapes. My journey hasn't been a straight line, but every stop (even the "ridiculous" ones) taught me something about resilience, heart, and the art of the "fix-it" mindset.

I’m David Warner, a digital painter based in the quiet, rugged landscapes of Northern Michigan. I created Ephemeral Dream Creations as more than just a gallery—it is a dedicated space to share the specific blend of beauty and "weirdness" that lives inside my head. This is my story.
The Roots of the Work I am a small-town guy from a small-business family. Growing up in my family’s motel, I received a masterclass in the art of the "fix-it" mindset. From operations to customer service, I learned that in a small town, versatility is a requirement and heart is the primary currency. I carried that grit into a decade-long career in manufacturing, working my way from laborer to Production Technician, where I specialized in turning raw data into actionable strategies. Today, I still use that analytical lens in my work as a data analyst, but it’s no longer the whole story.
The Fuel Behind the Brush Above anything else, I am a family man. My life is dedicated to providing an amazing future for my wife and our three children. They aren’t just my motivation; they are the fuel that pushes me to over-deliver on every project I touch. I’m not looking to build an empire; I’m an old-fashioned nerd focused on taking care of the people I love and sending a bit of light back into the world.
Dreaming of a Cooler World I create art for a world that feels both grounded and magical. While reality can often feel heavy or stagnant, I believe a single spark of hope—a gilded awakening—is enough to keep us moving forward. My work is an invitation to take a breather and step into a "cooler world." It’s a place where the lines between right and wrong are clear, hard work is rewarded, and the hero actually prevails.
Through my digital paintings, I strive to imbue every brushstroke with the strength we need to face the monsters in our own lives. My tagline, "Dreaming of a cooler world," is more than a slogan; it’s a vision of a future where we set aside our differences to lift each other up. Whether I’m analyzing data or painting a marshland at sunset, the goal is the same: finding the order in the chaos and the beauty in the "ridiculous" state I call home.
