With Legacy & Light, I wanted to explore revitalization through the lens of our shared history. This work moves away

from the floral to focus on the "magic hour" in a historic downtown setting, where the amber glow of the buildings begins to compete with the deepening blue of the evening sky.

By using a soft-focus, painterly technique, I’ve transformed familiar brick and mortar into something that feels cinematic and full of potential. It’s a tribute to the endurance of our local landmarks and the warm, inviting energy that returns to our streets when we commit to keeping the lights on. This piece serves as the architectural anchor of the collection—a reminder that renewal is built on a foundation of what we’ve always cherished.
