Cherry Blossom Dancer

Cherry Blossom Dancer explores the visceral energy of a world in the midst of a total awakening. In this work, I wanted to move beyond the idea of spring as something that simply happens to us, and instead portray it as an active, joyous movement.

The dancer’s form is entirely composed of shimmering cherry blossoms—layered shades of coral, pink, and white that create a sense of fluid, mid-air metamorphosis. By blurring the line between the human spirit and the new season, the piece suggests that we don't just witness revitalization; we become a part of it.
